What exactly is JalYantra?
JalYantra is a mobile app for Indian water jar distributors. It tracks every delivery, generates monthly bills automatically, and sends branded reminders to your customers on WhatsApp. Think of it as the digital replacement for the paper notebook every distributor uses today.
Who is JalYantra for?
Water jar distributors with anywhere from 50 to 800+ customers. Whether you run the operation yourself or have 5 delivery boys, the app scales with you.
Is JalYantra available now?
We're launching on Google Play in the next few weeks. Join the early-access list and we'll WhatsApp you the moment we go live. iPhone version follows later in 2026.
Which languages does the app support?
Hindi and English at launch. You can switch any time from Settings — and you can choose Hindi or English templates per customer for WhatsApp messages.
Does it work in my city?
Yes — JalYantra works anywhere in India where you have an internet connection. We're starting with concentrated support in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and North India, but the app itself is available pan-India.

How much does JalYantra cost?

How does the annual plan work?
Pay for 12 months upfront and get the 13th month free. Your subscription stays active for 13 full months from purchase — and the bonus month shows up clearly on your account.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days of full app access, no credit card needed to start.
Do you offer a free forever plan?
No, and we won't. We've watched too many "free forever" tools fail because they couldn't sustain support and product investment. Honest pricing means a sustainable product.
Can I get a refund?
30-day, no-questions refund. Email [email protected] within 30 days of payment and we'll refund you in full. Read the policy →
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The plan price covers the app and your monthly WhatsApp message allowance. If you need more in a heavy month, top-up packs start at ₹59 for 250 messages and never expire — buy once, use whenever. Unused plan messages also roll over automatically.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from inside the app. Your message rollover balance and top-up wallet stay with you.
How do I pay?
UPI, Razorpay, or any major credit/debit card. Annual subscriptions can also be paid via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) — write to [email protected] for an invoice.

WhatsApp messaging

Will WhatsApp messages show my brand or JalYantra's?
Yours. Your business name and logo appear on every message. We're invisible to your customers. They never see "JalYantra" anywhere.
Do my customers need to install an app?
No. Bills, reminders, and delivery updates arrive on the same WhatsApp your customers already use. Zero learning curve, zero friction.
What WhatsApp number is used to send messages?
Yours. We connect to your business WhatsApp number using Meta's Cloud API. We help you set this up during onboarding — it takes about 15 minutes.
Can my customers reply to the WhatsApp messages?
Yes — replies come straight to your WhatsApp number. You handle the conversation directly with the customer. We never read or store these conversations.
What's "Direct Meta Cloud API" and why does it matter?
Most WhatsApp tools route messages through a Business Solution Provider (BSP) like AiSensy or Wati — who charge ₹1,500–₹2,499/month subscription plus a 10–25% per-message markup. JalYantra connects directly to Meta. No subscription. No markup. You save ₹2,000–₹5,000 per month vs BSP-based tools.

Data & security

Where is my data stored?
On secure servers hosted in India. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Backups run daily.
Do you sell my customer data?
No. Never. Your customer list is yours alone. We don't sell, share, or use it to advertise to anyone. See our Privacy Policy →
Can I export my data?
Yes — at any time. Customer lists, deliveries, bills, payments — all exportable to PDF or CSV from the app. No vendor lock-in.
What happens if I cancel?
You retain read-only access to all your data for 90 days. You can export everything during that window. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted (or sooner if you request deletion).

Switching to JalYantra

I'm using a paper notebook. How do I switch?
Easiest path: download the app, add your customers (start with the 20 most active), use Rapid Entry from day 1. Within a week you'll have built up enough data for the first WhatsApp bill. We can also help you import customer lists during onboarding — write to [email protected].
I'm currently using PurePani / GoPaani / another app. Will you migrate my data?
Yes. Our team will help migrate customer lists, balances, and recent delivery history at no extra cost — on any plan. Email us with a CSV export from your current tool.
Do you have a setup or training fee?
No. Onboarding is included free with every plan, including Solo.
